Are we alone in the universe… God I hope not

Ok this is a bit of an odd one for my first real blog as it takes its time to get to the point but here goes any way

I found a site a while back that had some tests i found funny, so I signed up and filed in a profile. so far all is well. But then the badness happened.
You see the first thing I put in the “about you” bit on profiles is that I have bad spelling because I’m dyslexic. So one day I’m looking at my inbox and some one has posted a message reading “are sure you really English ‘cos your spelling is terrible”
now my problem is not what you may think, its not so much that he is picking on my weakness or that I see him as making fun of me, it is in fact the pure stupidity of the question
“are you sure your English” hum... I think so, but I better check my passport just in case…. whoops your right. It turns out I’m really from the artic circle.

time to get to the point i think. You see I have no problem with most stupid questions I, after all, have asked more than my fear shear but something about this one and the circumstances really made me hope that there was intelligent life among the stars because, and lets face it, there is not much of it hare on earth.
