The L word

hello again. i was thinking that as its been so long since i last did a blog that i would do something really incitefull about some current topic that is on every ones mind... but it all seam like a bit to much efort.

which brings me nicely to what i really am going to wright about, the L word thats right laziness.
i am, a lazy person there is no point denying it but some people have the wrong idea about it as all to often it gets confused with idellness but they are far from the same thing.
idellness is not a good thing it is the unwilling ness to do anything idle people will just sit there on the couch eating crisps and pizza.

lazy people are different, well ok i do like to sit on the couch eating crisps or pizza but its different, you see the main principle with laziness is not to do nothing but to get the desired result with the minimum efort.

idellness is bad but laziness can be a good thing if in the right hands for instance would we have developed farming if we could have been bothered to hunt and gather, and shorly the only reason we invented the car was because someone couldn't be bothered to walk to the shops.

so next time you go to ocall someone lazzy as an insult think twise because lazyness is not just a way of life if done right it can be an artform.

Problem solving the man’s way!

A couple of Sundays ago I was woken at 11 o’clock in the morning (up an till a few years ago I didn’t even know there was an 11 o’clock on Sunday mornings) by a phone call from my friend Dom.

“Hay dean, could you come over and help me and Bob move a sofa from my living room down the stairs and out to my garage”

So up I got and off I went.

I arrived to Dom, Rob, two more of are friends and a sofa sitting in the middle of the kitchen.

“We have hit a problem it doesn’t fit, the gap between the kitchen door and the hall is to small”

“No its not let me have a look at it” I say, so I pick up a Tape Measure and set to work measuring the sofa width, length thickness, then the doorway and the distance to the wall and guess what.

“Guys its not going to fit, there isn’t enough room”

So the five of us put are heads together to come up with a solution. Now among the Five we have a doctor, a man with a masters degree, a normal degree and a guy that works at a university. Even taking the drag factor of my mind in to account we should have been able to come up with a better solution than we did. But, well, four out of the five of us are men, men in there mid twenties at that, so there was really only one possible outcome.

Yes that’s right…….

More bad news

Well it maybe good news, it all depends on if you like me or not.
You see I had planed on going paintballing on the weekend with some of my live friends but sadly I can no longer go.
This is because the time I spent on sick leave from work has made it is impossible to get any more time off in the next few weeks.

This has in fact upset me more than my 360 being out of use or indeed being ill as I was really looking forward to meeting PJ, Hixx, Half Pint, Vixen and Aiden agene as I had such a good time when I met them before.

Sorry guys, but I’m shore you’ll have fun without me

A very quick one

Well its 1:30 and I just answered the door to a UPS man who handed me my repaired 360 and I’m so happy,

The thing is I’m not shore if I what to play it yet as I’m now hooked on FFVII oh the dilemma.

Update

Ok I’ve just taken my repaired 360 out of the box to find that the twats at Microsoft forget to send back the power brick. They really need to start employing people with a higher IQ than fish

Back with an old flame

The resent bad luck I have been having has given me time to think about things, and one of those tings is how I have neglected an old relationship, and how It may have been ended sooner than it should, so now I’m doing the best I can to put it right.

That’s correct my friends I’m back together with my PS2. Ok so maybe it not as dramatic as I was trying to make it sound, but things have been pretty boring as if late for me what with being stuck at home.

I’m going back a bit gaming wise as I’m currently playing FFVII its not the most up to date game but I had never played it before and it is by all accounts a fantastic game.

Well I cant really think of any thing else that is worth typing, oh except that I’m felling better now still not 100% but well on my way.

See you latter guys!

Not my week....

Hello, as you know I’m sick with chest problems, so I was at the doctors agene yesterday and they now think I may have pneumonia… yes its has been the hottest week of the year and I have a suspected case of pneumonia, Typical.

But the fun doesn’t stop there, oh no, I can’t even enjoy the sunshine because the anti-biotics I’m on make my skin photo sensitive (that means I will burn quickly) and then there is also my hay fever.

I also cant go down the pub with my friends to watch the world cup because I can’t drink on the medication (and there is a lot of it. 7 pills, 2 inhalers and I have to do a test to see if my lung capacity is going up of down, incase I get worse and not better) and then being in a smoky environment would just render me dead anyway as I would not be able to breath.

And even after you get past he hole medical issues things still aren’t going my way like sky plus failing to tape doctor who, or the fan in my room not working and not forgetting my car braking down on my way to an evening barbeque at my friends new flat (had to be evening as I cant spend much time in the sun) and buy the time the AA got there and got it fixed my mate Dom and I where already 3 hours late so there was no point in us turning up at all.

Still I shouldn’t complain, I should look for the up side of all this. Like the fact it means I get to see more of the football, as I’m not at work and if karma really does exist, I’m in for one hell of a pay out.

Update

today at 5 o’clock my XBOX 360 died at first I figured it had just over heated but after leaving it for 30 minuets at still wouldn’t work I just got those red lights on the ring and of curse it being a Sunday there support line is closed. So I can’t even ask them what to do.

Sympathy please

Ok well to day I had to go to the doctors, you see a wile back I got a chest infection nothing to bad all it really meant was that I got some time off work and I couldn’t play in my five-a-side team, so I was given some pills and an asthma inhaler.

The problem is that it has now come back, but worse. I can now barely go up and down my stairs with out needing a 5-minuet brake to get my breath back. The doctor said that it may still just be an infection and that the last set of pills where not strong enough. However it might be something else and that I should go and get a chest X-ray to find out what’s really going on.

So now I’m stuck at home, can’t really go any where as I run out of breath way to quickly, can't go for a drink with my friends as my new pills mean no alcohol so really i'll be doing nothing but playing on live for the next few days at least, and to be honest, even with all the friends I have on live that could get very boring.

I just hope I’m better for the start of july because I have plans to run around a lot whit a paint ball gun.
